Any organisation, social institution or resident of Flensburg can contact the foundation at any time with a request.
Whether it is support for individuals in an emergency situation through no fault of their own, a small grant for a set of toys for a youth centre, financial support for a cultural association or an excursion for senior citizens - examples like these are a living part of our day-to-day work at the foundation.
The application can be informal; what is important is a concrete description of the request and the amount of money required by the applicant.
A decision on whether to approve the application is made by the foundation's board of directors.
