Quick dribbling and eye-catching combinations: The VW Cup in the Fördehalle was visibly fun for the spectators. Almost 3,000 youth football fans came to the hall from Friday, 12 January to Sunday, 14 January 2018 to cheer on the teams from Germany and Denmark. Among them was Uwe Lorenzen, who presented trophies and certificates to the best players. The SBV Supervisory Board member was on site in his role as Chairman of the SBV Foundation Helmut Schumann, which provided financial support for the tournament.
