From tree trunk to work of art

"We wanted to turn the figures themselves into encounters," explains Finja Ohrt, one of the artists. Many encounters have already taken place: Between the Werkkunstschule and the SBV, between the students and their first large work - and also encounters with local residents. "We underestimated the noise that comes with a project like this," Möller admits at the official handover of the sculptures. Following complaints from local residents, the open workshop was therefore moved to the cold store.
The finished works of art will now be placed in the green spaces along Eiderstrasse and Travestrasse.
