Bookcase in Fruerlund

If you like reading, you have a new place to go for a walk in Fruerlund: a public bookcase has recently been installed on the corner of Eiderstrasse and Travestrasse. Anyone can donate and borrow books here. The cupboard is a real community project: the concrete foundation was laid by the SBV, the cupboard was built by the Martinstift, the first books came from the Lions Club Flensburg, funding was provided by the "Die Mürwiker" foundation and the cupboard is looked after by visitors to the "Mittendrin" neighbourhood meeting place.
